The All England Club announced on Thursday a record £50 million prize pool for Wimbledon in 2024. The men’s and women’s singles champions will each receive £2.7 million, while the runners-up will earn £1.4 million. Prize money for the first round of singles is set at £60,000.
Double award money will increase by 11.9 percent from 2023, while eligible payments will increase by 14.9 percent. The total prize money for Wimbledon has doubled over the past 10 years, from £25 million in 2014.
This year’s main draw for the top three players will begin on July 1-14.
