When is the Fortnite Magneto skin released and how can you unlock it in the game once it does?
Chapter 5 Season 3 is off to an interesting start, now there are a few quick versions. We’ve had time to play with the new skins, but there’s one big feature that’s still missing.
As usual, the Battle Pass isn’t everything. We still have bonus styles coming, and perhaps the most exciting is the Bonus Skin. This season, that’s Magneto. The metal-wielding mutant will be our latest crossover character.
Coming ahead of the rumored Marvel-themed season 4, we have the villain as a bonus skin now. He is called Wastelander Magneto, a more characterful look to fit this season’s map.
The Fortnite Magneto Skin will not be unlocked from the start of the season. When is the skin release date and how can you open it?
When is the Fortnite Magneto Skin released?
The Magneto Fortnite skin will be released in a few weeks of the season. It’s good to have these icons in the middle as they keep things interesting. Even if you grind most of the Fortnite Battle Pass for C5 S3 there is more to unlock.
A release date is currently set July 2n.d 2024.
This may change as we get closer. It’s just the opening time currently listed in the game. Fortnite may go off schedule at times, with updates for Season 3 having moved to days other than Tuesdays. This may delay Magneto’s release. We will expect him and his accompanying quests to arrive around July 2ndn.dalthough.
All Magneto Fortnite Skins
This is where you can get the skin, but what’s next? We know we’re getting a Fortnite Wastelander Magneto skin. Most likely, we will also get a more accurate skin style. Some things are still a mystery though! Beyond the bonus skins, here’s what we can expect:

We won’t know things exactly until they open in July.
Magneto’s in-game content
Since the Fortnite Magneto skin hasn’t been released yet, we don’t know about the in-game content for sure. However, the trailer looked promising.
We’ve already seen a form of Magneto’s shield and iron-throwing attack in the trailer. This can even mean you’re on the map as a boss! Hopefully, the Mythic that controls the metal is useful against the powerful vehicles that carry the C5 S3 armor at the moment.
How to unlock Fortnite Wastelander Magneto Skin
If you actually want to get your hands on the skin, we don’t have long to wait. It won’t be open to everyone. It’s not one of our free Fortnite skins, unfortunately. Fortnite Magneto Skin will not break back.
However, it is available to everyone who purchased the C5 S3 Battle Pass. It depends on you completing certain challenges.
Bonus skins get a series of quests, which are valid for those who bought the pass. Each finish should unlock a different item. Completing them all on the page unlocks the Magneto Fortnite skin. The second page then completes another character style.
The first page of quests usually runs when the skin first opens. That will be the June opening. Recently, the second batch was held for several weeks.
However, by mid-July, players should be able to get their hands on Magneto in the game. There are already plenty of Marvel skins out there, but Magneto is going to take out our X-Men characters.
We have a short wait before the Fortnite Wastelander Magneto skin unlocks. The skin will drop on July 2nd, so start preparing your locker slot now for it to be released.
