Amazon drivers include 15,000 claims saying they missed income

Thousands of transport applicants apply against Amazon on Tuesday, saying the company’s division as independent contractors has led to unpaid funds and other loans.

Two attorney companies that have been about 15,860 drivers of amazon Flex lies applied to the American Arbitration Association, where the same 453 cases were already being charged.

The Amazon Flex program, which was launched in 2015, registers drivers to deliver packages in their cars and a special app.

Gas and other vehicle costs are “a big expense for our customers,” Tindall said in an interview. He also said that one representative client was working for 7 weeks of days bringing Amazon during the holidays and has not been paid for more time.

A bipartisan group of more than 30 US senators sent Amazon CEO Andy Jassy a letter last week asking for more information about the company’s relationship with thousands of private businesses that make millions of deliveries each day as part of the Amazon Delivery Service Partners program.

In March, the Wisconsin Supreme Court overturned a lower court ruling that declared Flex drivers workers — a decision that would have allowed them to be part of the state’s unemployment insurance program and entitled to unemployment benefits if they were laid off.

The Teamsters union, which wants to organize Amazon drivers, also filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board last year challenging how the company discriminates against some of its drivers.
