2024 Travelers Championship Generates Over $3.2 Million for Charity By Investing.com
HARTFORD, Conn.–( BUSINESS WIRE )–The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV) today announced that the 2024 Travelers Championship ” a PGA TOUR Signature Event ” generated a tournament record of more than $3.2 million from more than 170 events. non-profits in the region. This year brings the total amount raised for the charity to over $30 million since Travelers became title sponsor in 2007.

The Travelers Championship donates 100% of all profits to charity. This year’s main beneficiary is The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a non-profit organization based in Ashford (NYSE: ), Connecticut, that focuses on creating fun and friendship for children with serious illnesses. Many other relevant non-profit organizations “including arts and culture, education, health care, housing, human services, mental health, food insecurity, science and technology, and youth development” also use the competition as a platform to raise funds and promote their causes.
