Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean

Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean will be our next big event, but when will the collaboration be released and fully launched?

The next Fortnite event will be a crossover with the classic Swashbuckling franchise. This has been known for a long time due to Fortnite road leaks. However, more of the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collab has now been leaked ahead of time.

In the latest update, all collaboration was mistakenly enabled for a group of in-game players. We’re not just talking about data miners finding files, but players buying and unlocking engagement skins before they’re revealed.

Naturally, we now know a little about what’s coming with the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collab. Including that some players were able to access everything early. If you also want to get ahead of the curve, here’s how the Fortnite Pirates crossover will work.

Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean Pass

A big part of the recent engagement has been the passing of the event. First introduced in Chapter 4, they have become seasonal in the current chapter of Fortnite. We get one every season now.

These passes are essentially a mini battle Pass. Just like the original, there are some things you can unlock for free but the biggest rewards are in the main track to pass. This is where we get the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean skins.

This pass is completely focused on the wider game of Fortnite, not like our last pass which was almost exclusively Lego. The Fortnite Pirates co-op pass has a few rewards in the free tier, but it’s Captain Jack’s premium skin that will draw the most attention.

This is the full leaked pass, as revealed by ShiinaBR on Twitter.

The Captain of the Black Pearl is the main attraction of the pass. To get the skin though, you’ll need to go through the pass once it’s released. This is usually done by completing special requests.

These will be unlocked gradually every day for every engagement. You’ll have to interact with new things, visit places on the map, and react a little bit on purpose.

From the looks of the leaked material, some of it can be complicated. There is always a Fortnite bot lobby strategy to make quests happen quickly and easily even if you are struggling. Of course, we don’t know the complete list of applications until the date when Pirates of the Caribbean comes to Fortnite.

While quests are the main way to unlock goodies in the pass, other players got their hands on the big, tempting skin long before Epic intended.

How To Unlock Jack Sparrow Skin In Fortnite Pirates Crossover At First?

In one of the latest notes to appear in Fortnite news, there has been an accident. Epic made the event available early.

In the grand scheme of things, the Fortnite Pirates crossover is far from our worst leak. The entire Epic guide for the year includes this collaboration that was leaked years ago, and has only been confirmed by all the additions since then. However, thanks to this early upload we have a clear view of all Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean participating.

The pass was briefly available in its usual place, a new tab in the game. Those who were able to buy it in this short window are allowed to keep it though. The skin they opened will be sticky. But they can’t play with the end of the pass until the game catches up with them.

If you want to get Jack early, the window has closed! Unfortunately, this was one of those rare bugs that only works for certain players. If you miss it the only solution is to wait for it to come back!

Other Skins in the Crossover

Jack’s skin is already in the game, but what about the other characters? The bonus skin this season is Magneto, but we still get a lot of villains in the item shop as well.

It looks like we’ll be getting Davy Jones, Barbossa, and Elizabeth Swann as new characters in the item shop. This should help fill out the entire franchise included in Fortnite.

As for other cosmetics, there are fun things. Like the Jar of Dirt emote that celebrates one of the series’ most memorable clips.

There is also a hearty spread of swords that come as harvesting tools. The Fortnite Pirates collaboration will have a few new outfits for those who love skins more than the actual game. There are things coming for players to use on the island though.

Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean Collab In-Game Items

The game will be getting in-game items to celebrate this crossover. We already have a good look at this thanks to some data sources. They can end up with the best Fortnite items once the collaboration is released.

The main novelty is the legend built around the Pirate ships. It’s a Fortnite thing this season that focuses on Mobility. By the looks of it, it’s a jar that you smash to take out a large Pirate ship. After that you can sail forward to go around and destroy buildings.

It seems to be a fun way to get around the map, even in a season full of super powerful cars. The Fortnite Pirates crossover may also feature new Melee weapons.

When is Pirates of the Caribbean coming to Fortnite?

Some players have it early, but when do we get it right? The pass release date is included in that early leak. We expect it to arrive on July 19.

As with any Fortnite release date, this one can get mixed up. Updates are delayed or oversubscribed. However, on July 19th a penciled date to watch. This is the most likely time it comes. It gives us a healthy window before the FN season ends.

At the beginning of July, we already got the Fortnite Summer event. Recent updates like the ones that added Fortnite Wanderer have been able to give us more to do during the month. However, it looks like July 19 will be the day we move on to the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collab.

We’re already getting some in-game teases, like changes to the pool in the middle of the map. We’ll probably see all of this content coming from that week later in July.
