Fortnite Reload has started with a new loot pool. Well, there’s more to the remixed loot pool. Our Fortnite reload items take a lot of inspiration from the OG chapter, but it’s a different set of weapons.
Most of the gun class has only one installation. But there are notable omissions. Guns in particular are in an odd place compared to the rest of the loot pool. The only Chapter 1 AR they chose to include is the stranger option as well.
Travel and other strange things appear here and there. There are only so many guns that one player can carry, so what do you prioritize?

All Fortnite reload items
Fortnite Reload items are a very small group. It’s pared back to match the fast-paced gameplay format, and the weird new stuff is pretty much left out. These are all the guns in the game at launch:
- A smart gun
- Heavy Shotgun
- Infantry Rifle
- Heavy Assault Rifle
- A revolver
- Tactical Submachine Gun
- Bolt-Action Sniper
- Rocket Launcher
- The Grappler
What are the best reloads for Fortnite though? We can break it down to a few levels to see what stands out in the game.
IS Tier – The best reloading weapons for Fortnite
Infantry Rifle
The Infantry Rifle is a much missed weapon! Probably the best Fortnite gun ever, a very effective basic gun.
It will reward players with a great goal. Since it’s a bit faster than the Sniper it’s better suited for reloading as well. It’s a great shot and one that we’ll probably see in a lot of pop off clips in this new mod. It’s a shot we’d like to see again in Fortnite tournaments, but Reload is a good start.
Rocket Launcher
The Rocket Launcher is one of Fortnite’s most exciting weapons and we’ve been missing it for a long time. Good to see you back.
This weapon is very good at taking out buildings, even players in the right places. You’ll have to watch the ammo, but with infinite reloads even dealing with close burst damage isn’t the end of the world. The Rocket Launcher should carry a lot of players this season.
The Grappler
One tool to go in Fortnite Reload! No cars to be found or shockwaves. It’s just a Grappler.
Grappler is great for moving around the map and getting out of trouble. It is another must carry. As a go-to tool, it’s best to keep one in your inventory at all times for the best chances of winning Fortnite games on Reload.

OG Heavy Shotgun
Heavy is a unique form of Fortnite Reload weapons. In fact, we are short of a pump. For some reason the loot pool has a Tac, and this is our Pump area.
The Heavy is a strange little gun. It can be fixed and affective. However, without Pump in the game this is our best shot. A better choice than Tac for the most part, especially if you intend to use it to its full potential.
A smart gun
The Tactical Shotgun is a gun that players may not have had in the C5 S3 arsenal. This is a classic OG rifle. A fast gun that is more forgiving than a pump.
It’s not a substitute for a skilled shooter, but if you lack the aim of other guns this one can work well. It’s even suitable for casual gameplay here.
Tactical Submachine Gun
The Tactical Sub is a very fun gun to hold after so many seasons of weird SMGs. The Tactical Sub is a standard SMG, perfect for playing with the Fortnite Reload gun.
Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
The original Sniper is here, back with a bang and only one shot. Bolt-Action is very useful if you can’t aim really well. For a skilled player it is one of the best weapons for Fortnite Reload.
It might be a little to many players’ liking here. With restarts enabled, you can take more risks with shooting.
The Bolt-Action Sniper is a fun weapon to own. The new item isn’t as new as Chapter 5 has seen many hackers, but it’s still nice to have.
C Tier Fortnite Reload Weapons
Heavy Assault Rifle
Heavy AR is back to reboot Fortnite, just as you remember it. It’s slower than a standard AR, but it’s still a solid gun.
The speed of gameplay is not very suitable for ARs in the beginning, but a good amount of map will work well with ARs in the early rounds. The Heavy Assault Rifle is a decent gun, especially since it’s an AR only.
A revolver
The Revolver is a classic. It is a surprisingly effective weapon with a good purpose. It can’t beat other weapon classes though.
It’s a problem we see all the time with handguns. Although they are good, they do not compete with Shotguns.
Those are the lowest and best weapons for Fortnite Reload. This is an attractive soft booty pool. There aren’t many choices, but with only five slots you’ll still have to prioritize.
Most of these guns will be great for jumping into Fortnite Reload. We may see the loot pool grow over time, so stay tuned for future updates. Fortnite servers can receive multiple reload guns at any given time.
