China’s June factory jobs contracts for second month By Reuters

BEIJING (Reuters) – China’s manufacturing output contracted for a second month in June, an official factory survey showed on Sunday, ending calls for a rebound after a series of recent indicators showed the economy struggling to get back on track.

The official purchasing managers’ index (PMI) stood at 49.5 in June compared with 49.5 in May, below the 50-point growth margin since the contraction and in line with the average forecast of 49.5 in a Reuters poll.
