Revolutionizing the Bitcoin Mining Industry with WhatsMiner M6XS+ Series
MicroBT, a leading innovator in the Bitcoin mining industry, unveiled its latest WhatsMiner M6XS+ series during the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, TN. This new series, featuring air cooling, hydro cooling, and immersion cooling models, represents a significant leap forward in sustainable mining technology.
The Future of Sustainable Mining
In his keynote address, Dr. Zuoxing Yang, the founder and CEO of MicroBT, highlighted the company’s progress and commitment to sustainable and efficient mining practices. Dr. Yang emphasized the importance of renewable energy in the industry, with solar mining poised to lead the way. He predicted that by 2026, the cost of solar mining electricity could drop to around 4 cents USD per kWh, eliminating a major barrier for the industry.
MicroBT’s solar mining technology has made substantial advancements, with successful testing of a 100 kW project. Dr. Yang announced the upcoming launch of the WhatsMiner solar mining container system and invited industry partners to join in advancing solar-powered mining excellence.
Introducing the Latest Models
- WhatsMiner M60S+ (Air Cooling): Hashrate up to 210 TH/s with a power efficiency of 17 J/T.
- WhatsMiner M63S+ (Hydro Cooling): Hashrate up to 450 TH/s with a power efficiency of 17 J/T and water outlet temperature reaching 70℃ (158℉).
- WhatsMiner M64 (Hydro Cooling): Hashrate up to 206 TH/s with a power efficiency of 19.9 J/T and water outlet temperature reaching 80℃ (176℉).
- WhatsMiner M66S+ (Immersion Cooling): Hashrate up to 318 TH/s with a power efficiency of 17 J/T.
Dr. Yang promised additional products and solutions to be launched in the spring of 2025. Following Dr. Yang’s keynote address, Wright Wang, Director of Sales & Marketing at MicroBT, joined a panel discussion with industry partners to discuss collaboration in manufacturing to mining. Riot Platforms and Peak Mining, supported by WhatsMiner products, highlighted their large-scale immersion and hydro cooling operations, paving the way for innovative mining practices.
