Marek: “One quick thing before we wrap up here, does Libor Hajek want to give back?”

Friedman: “Yes. So Libor Hajek played overseas last year, and I heard he’s looking to return to the NHL.

And there are a number of people out there chasing him. He’s a really good kid. Two things hurt him the most, the shoulder separation and the Rangers having him on the roster without playing him because he deserved to be waived.

He said it was just one of those things that went sideways for him. He didn’t make it but now that he’s 26 years old, he wants to get another chance.

And I love people like that. So I wanted to give you a shout out and say, that you’re looking to come back to North America.”

NHL Rumors: Mark Tock Steven Stamkos and the Lightning … Teams waiting

Marek: “Good. We, wish him the best. Don’t forget, he was a second-round pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning not too long ago.”
