TI Qualifiers Meta Highlights — EEU and SA – DOTABUFF

We continue to analyze top-level Dota to highlight exciting new ideas. EEU and SA are two regions where the games are very chaotic and aggressive and it clearly shows in drafts and building favorites. Some of their ideas are throwbacks to classics, while others are brand new, but all should be easy to use in your everyday pubs.

The most recent buff makes this feature the default in the South African region, it seems. The amount of damage Jakiro can trade is greatly increased with the Liquid Frost attribute, especially if you have a Blood Grenade to fix the enemy’s position and dish out more punishment.

The tradeoff is that Jakiro with this feature doesn’t push at all. He can help with creepwave, maybe, but the absence of Liquid fire is really noticeable during the first game.

In our opinion, it’s always the right trade-off. The speed of the game is incredibly high, especially in the top tier of Dota, and having a strong laning stage is better than a push support. A typical build is 2-0-2-0 at level four, with additional levels to choose from in Dual Breath if you’re fighting hard. By default, however, level five is where you usually want to start taking the Ice Path.

Itemisation-wise, Mekansm Mekansm remains the most popular and effective price. Other than that, we’re seeing a lot of Eul buys, as it’s a great way to set up Ice’s path, and an amazing thing against dominance right now. Ursa Ursa and SA-specific Spirit Breaker Spirit Breaker.

[item-hand-of-midas] again Octarine Core Octarine Core Spirit Breaker is gone and this patch, at least in the South African region, is a return to form for this hero. A typical Spirit Breaker in SA finds Class boots class boots, The Shadow Blade Shadow Blade also starts roaming the map looking for kills and setups.

It works much better than trying to farm and strengthen, as the game right now is all about tempo. Follow up your first few items with Eul and you get yourself a nice save or another way to set up a kill on incoming teammates.

The hero cannot be chosen in every game, of course. One of the high level heroes to win in this piece is Dark Willow and he is stopping the potential reign of Spirit Breaker. While the professional scene has a guaranteed ban, in the pubs you can end up with an underperforming hero, just like you would in a more structured Dota. Similarly, don’t pick Spirit Breaker from Clockwerk.

In some cases the hero is very fun to play, can be effective and as long as you communicate your goals with your teammates, he will lead you to victory more often than not.

This is a confusing structure that I think is still in doubt. It’s very much a meta for the high-end pubs and the professional scene, however, let’s try to find out why exactly this thing has been replaced by the mainstream. Diffusal Blade Diffusal Blade.

Instead of providing extra damage to Swashbuckle, this item provides Pango with slow and extra right-click damage when the hero fights an enemy without using his abilities. Which is rare, but can be useful on occasion.

It also gives Pango more HP and mana regen, making the hero a bit tankier, which is great. Similar, if not higher levels of mana regen and more survivability can be achieved with Eul’s. The latter can also be used as a secondary Rolling Thunder stun setup, making Pango a decent hero against unreachable targets.

Finally, the Echo Saber offers potential improvements Harp The harp, which is very good indeed. It can be used to pull a target close to Pango during the Rolling Thunder, allowing for tracking down. It’s a good thing for a late game hero, considering its level 20 talent and this talent is probably the reason why this build is so popular.

It’s more of a greedy approach, focused on the late game with some disadvantages during the early game, where Pango should be more active, but although we don’t agree with it at the high levels of the professional scene, it should be very good. in slow-moving buses.

The regional metas continue to develop in their own small countries, but there is definitely some overlap. It will be very interesting to see how the game develops over the next few months and how Valve will respond to some balanced heroes.

However, in the meantime, we will continue to analyze the matches and look for other interesting ideas or combinations of heroes. Tell us if you see something interesting in the comments section below.
