Will there be a big change on the horizon, and when will the next season of Fortnite be released?
Fortnite is always moving forward, so when is Chapter 5 of Season 4 coming out? While the new content is great, if you’re pinning the old Fortnite meta it won’t be too long to wait.
The current season has some weird gameplay, but it’s always changing. The game is about to undergo some major changes, especially this season. The meta seems to evolve every week.
Metallica is fun and everything, but it’s no secret that this has been a controversial season. The traditional balance of power in weapons and items was discarded, and the gameplay changed completely. It’s one of the best additions in Fortnite history. So, when is the next Fortnite season?
It’s not like the players are leaving the game until next season, but the numbers have dropped and it’s clear that the changes for this season are no longer acceptable. Many players are currently asking when is the next Fortnite season. A little slower than usual.
That doesn’t mean Epic is doing any work to try to fix it. They have been changing the way things work more and more every week.
As long as you don’t want to worry until a new set of game releases arrives, there are only a few months to wait for the next Fortnite season release date.
When is the next Fortnite season?
If you’re looking forward to the next drop in new Fortnite content, you don’t have too long to wait! Well, it wasn’t that long in the grand scheme of things. We are actually very early in the season.
The next season of Fortnite should start on August 16. This is the last day of the C5 S3 Battle Pass in-game for this season.
The game doesn’t stay on anything that long. Sometimes that’s great, like when a game is named a season. However, for others, it’s a shame as a full season feels like it’s going to benefit a little too soon.
August is the most likely date for the season to end. This can be changed from time to time though. In the past we have seen these early season dates delayed, such as the C5 S2 Fortnite servers being down for longer than we thought. Next season will probably start on time though.
Before then, there are a lot of changes planned though. We find new things all the time. Also, there’s a Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration coming soon. There’s tons to look forward too. But, the time is coming when the launch of the next season of Fortnite is not too far.
What’s Coming Next Season?
This season may be all cars, but Epic rarely sticks with a gameplay gimmick for longer than it’s acceptable. We are looking at a big change for next season.
According to Fortnite’s leaks, this is going to be another amazing season. This time I’m looking at the X-Men.
The natural assumption for this is that the season will once again feature the super-powered Mythics. These are a good match for legendary weapons, but may differ from the latter.
In the years since our last superhero interaction, Legends has gotten its best balance. Hopefully, we can expect the superhero stuff to fit the same way in the regular gameplay a little better.
Aside from the Super Heroes, there are a lot of unknowns about the upcoming season. There are other details about Rocket Racing and Lego that we already know. Like the return of Klombo, the undisputed highlight of the last few chapters of Fortnite. However, in Battle Royale at first glance it feels like it won’t be a return to old style gameplay. At least a little bit.
Epic Just Tease FN Chapter 5 Season 4
Another thing that can make people sleepless about the upcoming season is that Epic has started teasing it. Actually, a week or so into the season they started teasing it.
We’re starting to see these interesting pylons appear all over the map. What does this really mean? If you were part of the Fortnite player base back in Chapter 2, you’ll probably see this. They are from Stark Industries POIs.
These plyons are clearly teasing the return of Fortnite Marvel content. The Roadmap leak we saw a while ago has already leaked that next season is Marvel again. Since players immediately see these pylons as in C2 S4, apparently, it is intentional.
Epic started teasing things soon. We have the summer break to get through first, before Chapter 5 Season 4 arrives and completes the current age of the game. The holidays in particular are starting to feel cursed, with the summer seasons often less popular.
There is still more content to come. Even the release of Magneto in Fortnite hasn’t happened yet. Also, more co-op is lined up which could see the gameplay return to the old style of Fortnite.
We can expect these jokes to grow as the next Season of Fortnite rolls around. We don’t even have that long to wait.
