Developed by Lilith Games and FARLIGHT, AFK’s adventure will captivate you with its vibrant characters and art style, as you explore a brilliantly designed world in an ethereal fantasy setting. As an RPG game, you can expect many features shared by all RPG games, including different characters with different abilities, exploration, customization and treasure hunting.
We know that everyone loves the feeling of opening a treasure chest in any game, that’s why we’ve compiled this list with all the treasure chest locations in AFK Journey. So let’s take a look, shall we?
AFK Journey Chest locations
The AFK tour has two types of chests: Normal Treasures come in small, medium or large sizes and the reward will vary depending on the size. Another type of chest is Crimson Treasures that holds very valuable prizes and is often guarded by Treasure Keepers.
Holistone
In Holistone, you will find 2 Red Chests again 13 Common Chests in the areas shown above.
Golden Wheatshire 1
In Golden Wheatshire 1, you will find 2 Red Chest again 16 Common Chests.
- You will notice an area marked as blocked on the map, which prevents you from finding it three more treasure chests. To clear the blocked area, head northwest on the map and enter the hidden entrance.
- The door will lead you to the Ruin Cavern where you will have to solve a very simple puzzle. All you have to do is push the stone blocking the way and you will be good to go.
- Light the exploding barrel to clear the blockage once you’re out of the Ruin Cavern and don’t forget Step on the two pressure plates to reveal another chest!
Golden Wheatshire 2
In Golden Wheatshire 2, you will find 2 Red Chests again 9 Common Chests.
- Solving the Light Puzzle will give you another chest. To solve it, simply point all the lights at the receptors and a treasure chest will appear.
Cliff-Bottom Cave
In the Cliff-Bottom cave, you will find 1 Red Chest again 2 Common Chests.
Golden Wheatshire 3
In Golden Wheatshire 3, You will find 3 Red Chests again 11 Common Chests.
- Solving the Pressure Plate Puzzle will give you a chest and to solve it, you’ll need to drag two rocks onto the plates and step on the third one. Doing so will reveal a hidden chest.
Golden Wheatshire 4
Golden Wheatshire 4 includes 3 Red Chests again 9 Common Chests.
The Manor Tunnel can be accessed after completing part of the Main Quest – The Golden Feast.
Golden Wheatshire 5
Golden Wheatshire 5 has 3 Red Chests again 10 Common Chests.
- Solving the Light Puzzle will give you the final treasure chest.
Black Forest 1
Dark Forest 1 has it 3 Red Chests again 14 Common Chests.
- You will find three hidden chests when you solve each Plate Puzzle shown on the map above. To solve them, you will have to light up all the plates by stepping on each of them to reveal chests.
- To complete the sidequest Mysteries of the Antlers he will give you another chest. To access the quest, go through the portal in the northwestern region of the Black Forest map.
Dark Forest 2
You will find out 3 Red Chests again 11 Common Chests In the Black Forest 2.
- You will find the last chest in the southwest area of the Black Forest and you will have to interact with another Deer Spirit altar to reveal said chest. (Mysteries of the Antler).
Dark Forest 3
In Dark Forest 3, you will find 3 Red Chests again 12 Common Chests.
- Hidden chests can be found by completing Plate Puzzles again 2 Easy Puzzles shown on the map below.
- The last chest can be found by contacting Deer Spirit Altar.
Dark Forest 4
In Dark Forest 4, you will find 3 Red Chests again 11 Common Chests.
- Once again, you will find hidden chests by solving the problem Plate Puzzles again Easy Puzzles. Not to mention, there is someone else Mysteries of the Antler found here will give you a chest.
Dark Forest 5
Dark Forest 5 includes 3 Red Chests again 11 Common Chests.
- You will find hidden chests by solving this one Plate Puzzle again Mysteries of Horns. Are you seeing a pattern yet?
Black Forest 6
Dark Forest 6 includes 3 Red Chests again 12 Common Chests.
- Once again, hidden chests will be revealed to you as you complete them Light puzzle, Pressure Plate Puzzle again Mysteries of the Antlers.
Dark Forest 7
Dark Forest 7 includes 3 Red Chests again 12 Common Chests.
- In this case, a new puzzle is introduced called Collect the Puzzle where you will have to collect all the checkpoint flags within the time limit. Doing so will give you confidence.
- And like all of his Black Forest counterparts, he’ll need to finish A Simple Puzzle and a Plate Puzzle, and the final Mysteries of the Antler.
The mountains of Vaduso
The final destination, Vaduso Mountains 1, includes 2 Red Chests again 9 Common Chests.
- Complete the Plate Puzzle to find a hidden chest. Actually this is a new puzzle where you will have to light up all the plates except this one purple plates that will take you to other plates, adding more depth to the puzzle.
AFK Journey Ashen Waste Treasure Chest Locations
Ashen Waste 1
This area has one Puzzle Chest, and one of the new Treasure Hunter Chests. Most of the chests are on higher ground, so be sure to check the paths on the map above.
Ashen Waste 2
This area has one Puzzle Chest, and one of the new Treasure Hunter Chests
Ashen Waste 3
This area includes one Treasure Hunter puzzle.
Ashen Waste 4
Two Puzzle Chests are included in this part of the map. A large part of the latter is closed after the continuation of the story.

The Eroded Enclave section is being updated as we unlock content. We were on a new server so we had to wait a week.
