The War Within Pre-Patch will drop sometime before the end of July, and thankfully, those in the Beta have already had a chance to check it out.
As the release of War Within approaches terminal speed, it’s time to look ahead to the Pre-Patch. The event will go live sometime in July, and will be a limited time event open for about a month.
Battle Within Pre-Episode Release Date
As we mentioned at the beginning of the article, although the official drop date has not been confirmed, we know that we will get it before the end of July. This will give us at least four weeks to play the pre-patch. The beta is now open to anyone who has purchased the Epic Edition so we suspect an earlier patch will arrive once Blizzard hears that most people have had their fill of the Beta.
If we had to predict any kind of date, we’d probably say around July 16. That would give the previous patch enough time to be tested in Beta, but also time to get everyone back into the WoW hype. And, if we’re being insulting, it drops more than 30 days before the release of War Within and offers Blizzard an extra month of small money.
Battle Inside Pre-Patch – What’s Changing
So, obviously, in Beta, we have access to all the full releases can have. So, let’s take a look at what might be coming in the Pre-Patch
- New Hero Talent Program
- War belts
- The new Spellbook changes with search and filter
- United World Race
- UI changes
- Change in QOL
Another clear standout is the obvious changes to Hero Talent. Now, we won’t be able to use them as we learn them at our level. But, we will see them in our talent book so, that’s good. The following warbands, add a nice flavor to the login screen. For anyone who has used Addon Alterholic in the past, Warbands is, but only if the system is fully integrated into WoW. Essentially, it turns your bankroll, gold, and gear into a large resource shared among all of your characters.
We will also see a number of QOL and UI changes, the most notable of which will be the new Spellbook changes. Not only does it look great, but it also has the ability to search and filter talents.
